I was thinking to prepared some special dishes for the celebration (read early post here)...in my wish list..the cake might be.... Miss red velvet or Mr. oreo cuppies or Mrs. cotton chessecake.. the side dishes might be among Mr. trifle.. Miss karipap pusing...bla bla bla...
but...end up with something -not-really-special-but-okla :P
It is JUST 6" fruit buttercake..decorated with 'kedai made' flowers and some simple deco.. remaining batter...end up in cupcakes casing.. no miss red velvet, cuppies, trifle, karipap pusing-pusing...
To be honest..i wasn't in baking or decorating mood..it was my lazy Saturday...Start preparing the cake @5pm.. end up with deco @~7.30pm.. ~mcm lipas kudung~
...fresh from oven->> fan cooling (highest speed) ->> freezer (sorry Mr. freezer for heating you up..it won't happen again..promise!)->>(meantime..prepared some buttercream)buttercream crumb-coating (it was smooth but due to some last minutes changes..it wasn't..lantak la) ->> buttercream roses..tadaaaa siap!
6" fruits buttercake with icing & roses is consider great enough for only 2 1/2 hr preparation time.. (^^) kan kan??

Our celebration was so simple...
@8.30pm ~a small gathering at local favorite restaurant...makan2...
@~10.00pm..in law house...makan2 kek..
@~11.00 @home sweet home..tidooo aaa
p/s: have no mood to capture any moments including the cross-sec view of the lovely cake..:P
